Sploot is the controller of the personal data collected on our website and app. You can reach our privacy team at privacy@sploot.it.

• Email, display name, and preferred language.
• Your answers on the Board Matcher and the Surfer Quiz.
• Posts, spots, photos, and reactions you share in The Line-up.
• Email addresses you voluntarily leave on our waitlists.
• Minimal technical data (IP, device type, browser, session cookies).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive data. Please do not post any.

• To perform the service: create your account, generate results, and display your posts.
• With your consent: to ping you about a specific waitlisted feature.
• Legitimate interest: to keep the service safe, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
• Legal or regulatory obligation, when it applies.

You can, at any time and free of charge, ask us to:

• Confirm whether we are handling your personal data.
• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct data that is incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date.
• Anonymize, block, or delete data that is unnecessary, excessive, or handled unlawfully.
• Receive a portable copy of your data to move it to another service, when technically feasible.
• Delete data we handle on the basis of your consent.
• Know which third parties we share your data with.
• Withdraw your consent at any time.
• Object to specific processing when the law allows.
• Not be subject to decisions taken solely by automated processing that significantly affect you.

Send an email to privacy@sploot.it from the address linked to your account, telling us which right you want to exercise. We may ask for additional information only to confirm your identity.

We aim to respond within 15 days of receiving your request. Complex requests may take longer, and we will let you know transparently if that happens.

We use infrastructure, authentication, and AI providers that may be located in different countries. When your data crosses borders, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable data protection laws, and we send only the minimum needed for the service to work.

We use only essential cookies to keep your session working and to remember your language preference. We do not use third party cookies for advertising or cross site tracking.

If you think we have not respected your rights, you can file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country or region. Before that, we would love the chance to fix things directly with you. Just email privacy@sploot.it.
