What size and thickness of wetsuit do I need?
Thickness is about water temperature. Size is about being snug without cutting circulation.
Rough guide by water temperature: above 22C, boardshorts or a 2mm shorty. 18-22C, a 3/2. 14-18C, a 4/3. 10-14C, a 5/4 with hood. Below that, gloves and boots. Fit matters more than brand. A wetsuit should feel like a firm hug without cutting off your neck or armpits. Try before you buy if you can.
