What does goofy foot mean?
Right foot forward on the board. About one in three surfers ride goofy.
Regular is left foot forward, goofy is right foot forward. Neither is better. Try both stances on a skateboard or on the sand to figure out which feels natural. Whichever foot you'd instinctively use to catch yourself if pushed from behind is usually your back foot. That decides your stance.
